Desi Chicken Curry
The Gujrati Desi Chicken Curry is so Tasty and Spicy Which makes your Lunch delicious. Now this famous dish of Dhaba and Restaurants, you can make at home.
Ingredients
For Marination
- Desi Chicken - 1/2 Kg
- Namak(Salt) - 1/2 Tsp
- Kaali Mirch(Black Pepper Powder) - 1/2 Tsp
- Lemon Juice - 2 Tsp
For Curry
- Oil - 1/4 Cup
- Pyaaz(Onion) - 2 Medium Chopped
- Lehsan Adrak Paste(Garlic Ginger Paste) - 3 Tsp
- Tamatar(Tomato) - 2 Medium Chopped
- Sabaz Mirch(Green Chilly) - (3-4) Chopped
- Lal Mirch Powder(Red Chilly Powder) - 1 Tsp
- Haldee Powder(Turmeric Powder) - 1/4 Tsp
- Dadar Mirch(Red Chilly Flakes) - 1/4 Tsp
- Paani(Water) - As Required
- Zeera, Dhaniya Powder( Cumin Seeds, Corriander Powder) - 1/2 Tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Hara Dhaniya(Fresh Corriander Leaves) - As Required
Directions
> Marinate Chicken for 60 minutes by adding salt, Black pepper, and lemon juice.
> Fry Onions till golden brown and add ginger garlic paste, tomato, green chilly, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, and red chilly flakes. Mix well and cover until tomatoes are soft.
> Add marinated chicken and cover for 8-10 minutes on medium flame.
> Cook for 5 minutes and add 4 cups of water or as required to make Gravy.
> let it boil and cover for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.
> Add Cumin seeds, Corriander Powder, Grama Masala Powder, and fresh Corriander Leaves.
