Recipe of Methi Aloo

METHI ALOO

A freshly Cultivated Methi Form the garden of FOOD SQUARE.




Ingredients 

  • Fresh Methi ( Fenugreek leaves) - 3 Cups
  • Oil - 1/4 Cup
  • Pyaaz (Onion) - 1 Medium Chopped
  • Tamatar(Tomato) - 1 Medium Chopped
  • Sabaz Mirch(Green Chilly) - (2-3) Chopped
  • Namak(Salt) - 1 Tsp or to taste
  • Lal Mirch powder( Red chilly powder)  - 1/2 Tsp
  • Haldee Powder( Turmeric Powder) - 1/4 Tsp
  • Aloo(Potato) - 4 Medium
  • Kaali Mirch powder( Black Pepper Powder) - 1/4 Tsp
  • Dhania Powder(Coriander Powder) - 1/4 Tsp

Directions

Fry onion until translucent.
Add Tomato, Green Chilly, Salt, Red Chilly, and Turmeric Powder. Mix well and Cover until Tomatoes are Soft.
Add Properly Washed Methi and Cover For 8-10 Minute on low flame to cook Methi Properly.
Add Potatoes, Mix well and cover until potatoes are fully cooked for about 5-8 Minute.
Add Kaali Mirch and Dhania Powder, Cover for 2 minutes on low flame and your Tasty Aloo Methi is ready.
Serve with the Roti and Makhan.
